Regrowth in Chatham

APRIL 2021 - Regrowth Planning has been selected by the Town of Chatham, New York to assist them with an update to their Comprehensive Plan. This is welcome news after a long period of discussion with the community to determine what is really needed. After a weekend visit to this beautiful historic community a few weeks ago, we are excited to get started.

Their existing comprehensive plan, last adopted back in 2009, is still considered very thorough and valuable today, however it could not have foreseen many of the changes and emerging trends which have occurred over the past ten years, both locally and globally. Regrowth Planning will be working with the town to identify how these changes may or may not affect the town, and developing a public outreach effort to discuss with the community what the new comprehensive plan needs to include so that they have the information they need to make informed revisions to the plan.
