Regrowth Planning recently presented an updated copy of the new Town Plan for Georgia VT at a public hearing held by the local Planning Commission.

Regrowth Planning is proud to announce it has been selected to assist the Town of Kinderhook NY with developing an update to the town Comprehensive Plan. This Phase I of the work is intended to begin the process of public outreach, beginning in the Fall of 2024, with a kickoff Public Meeting, followed by the development of a town-wide survey to collect public input on issues and ideas for the new plan.

Regrowth Planning has been selected by the Town of Georgia, VT to update and redesign its zoning and development regulations.

Regrowth Planning has been hired by Albany County to envision and illustrate conceptual improvements along the Albany County Rail Trail. The proposed design sought to improve the visual appeal and recreational options provided at a highway overpass, providing shaded seating areas, exercise equipment, wayfinding and other amenities. The proposed rendering helps to visualize different design ideas in both daytime and nighttime environments.

Regrowth Planning was proud to discover that our work on the West Pawlet Village Master Plan was featured on the cover of the 2024 Municipal Planning Grant Program publication. This conceptual idea was to convert an abandoned slate quarry in West Pawlet into an outdoor performance and event space.

Regrowth Planning facilitated a public meeting in Georgia VT to present the Draft Town Plan which had been prepared and discuss the revised goals and policies which were being proposed. The new Town Plan features an improved and easier to read layout, larger maps, and a clear implementation section which assigns policy tasks to various boards and agencies with a desired timetable.

Over 120 people came out to attend our public meeting in Chatham last Saturday afternoon to discuss a variety of options being considered to address the issue of future housing availability and affordability.
